Wordless Wednesday- Chicks and a Storm?

Wow--I can't believe it has a been a few days since I last posted!! I'm not kidding when I say this has been the longest week ever (How can it only be Wednesday!?) Ahh. Well anyways I see that a lot of you are also feeling the end of the year pressure. Let's get through this together!!

I am linking up with the wonderful Christina (Miss DeCarbo at Sugar and Spice!!) I love the idea of Wordless Wednesday...especially when it has been a long day...or week. Ha!  See her post from today and link up here
A picture is worth a thousand words.

As a special education teacher, I go into the 6th grade Science class for half of the period. We are starting CHICKS...that's right...hatching chicks... this week and the eggs came yesterday!! Each student gets to have their own chick and watch it hatch!!! A special thanks (and props) to my friend and coworker Mrs. McChesney for teaching such a wonderful unit at the end of the year for our students!!
Here they are in the incubators in the classroom! I will keep you all updated for the next 21 days until the chicks hatch!!

Okay so those of you in the northeast..what is up with this storm! One minute I walk into the store and it's sunny and warm..and when I leave....total downpour and dark!
How are you ending the year?!?!

  1. We did chicks when I did my internship in Kindergarten...billions of years ago. They LOVED it. We got a 100% downpour down here in the south tonight. I feel like you. I went inside and it was sunny and came out and it was dark and wet. Hope it clears up for you!
